Dr. Bansari Shah

Dr. Bansari Shah grew up in Ahmedabad, India. She completed her dental training from Manubhai Patel Dental College after which she worked in private practice for two years. Her interest in periodontics peeked when she could not help patients with severe periodontitis. This led her to a three-year post-graduate program in Periodontics at K.M. Shah Dental College & Hospital, where she graduated top of her class. After that, Dr. Shah taught periodontics at Goenka Research Institute of Dental Science and extensively practiced her specialty at multiple clinics for 5 years.

On her move to the USA, Dr. Shah did another three-year graduate program in Periodontics at University of Louisville where she also earned a Master of Science in Dentistry. She served as a chief resident during her time there. She also spent a year at the Periodontics department at UCLA School of Dentistry, Los Angeles for advanced clinical training. Dr. Shah strives to remain at the forefront of clinical advances in the field with ongoing continuing education and is an active member of American Academy of Periodontology.

In her free time, Dr. Shah enjoys travel, cooking, and exploring the city with her husband. She is excited to call Naperville home.
