Dr. Muhammad Takriti
Dr. Muhammad Takriti attended Damascus University for his dental degree. Upon moving to Houston, Texas he joined the McGuire Institute where he coordinated practice-based clinical research in the realm of periodontal tissue regeneration and minimally invasive surgical therapies.
Dr. Takriti completed his three-year specialty program in Periodontics at the University of Illinois Chicago (UIC), where he also received a Master of Oral Sciences degree. His master’s thesis research was awarded first place from the Midwest Society of Periodontology student research forum. He was chosen to be the recipient of the Dr. Leon D. Rosenfeld and Dr. Alan L. Rosenfeld Resident Scholarship. Fulfilling his passion for teaching, Dr. Takriti serves as clinical assistant professor at UIC.
Dr. Takriti is a member of the American Academy of Periodontology and Academy of Osseointegration. Being a strong believer in giving back to the community, Dr. Takriti volunteered in several community outreach programs and strives to continue to serve his community with the best care they deserve. In his free time, he enjoys the outdoors, sports, and traveling with his wife.
